What did he do before Becchio showed up? He scrutinised every move, and
scribbled them in his little black book, no doubt, of .........well, to name a
few, Harte, Bakke, McPhail............
How about instead of betting people 20 quid he won't score more than 10
goals, when he does, you stop banging your drum on here forevermore?
I can just picture you at the match, eyes fixed on Becchio, watching his
every move, seeing every little fault he makes, each stumble, each mis-kick or
failure to make good contact with the ball. If only Grayson had your patience,
he would certainly see and agree with your wise and valuable expertise. I mean,
it must be great to be able to count the hairs on Becchio's head, but don't you
miss the rest of the match? What did you do at games before Becchio showed up?
Count the people in the crowd to see if it matched the offical attendance
figure?
