Rich pretty much has 2 failings.
1) He can only seem to recognise negative effects players have on/in a team, and either not see or dismiss the positives. For example, Harte was pretty cumbersome in defence, for the sake of argument he might be directly responsible for 5 goals a season. Yet he scored or assisted 5 times that. I wonder if he would have been ripping into Sterland who was the same? 2) Once he has identified someone as "shit" that's it - into the famous black book! How about instead of betting people 20 quid he won't score more than 10 goals, when he does, you stop banging your drum on here forevermore? I can just picture you at the match, eyes fixed on Becchio, watching his every move, seeing every little fault he makes, each stumble, each mis-kick or failure to make good contact with the ball. If only Grayson had your patience, he would certainly see and agree with your wise and valuable expertise. I mean, it must be great to be able to count the hairs on Becchio's head, but don't you miss the rest of the match? What did you do at games before Becchio showed up?
