McPhail captained his side to an FA cup final & playoff final in successive seasons a division above us. Again, not doing too bad. Viduka stayed in the top flight beyond Leeds so again there was plenty of admiration there for him. As for Bechio - he might offer something to the team, given his workrate, and postioning, but he's still not a very good footballer.
