Yes, its like the with Douglas without Douglas stats of a few years ago.

I think it's a pretty thankless role but vitally important

THe facts sppeak for themselves Sean:

We lost 12 games in this campaign:

Do you remember:

Preston 4-6
Cardiff 0-4
Cardiff 1-2
Sheff Utd 0-2
Leicester 1-2
Millwall 2-3
Palace 0-1

That's 7 defeats that all have one thing in common - Kilkenny didn't start
in
them. Against Cardiff we were starting with Andy Faye in preference - joke
decisions.

Come on, it just can't be a coincidence.

Sean,

That's rubbish. Kilkenny is no world beater granted and I don't think he'd
survive in the premiership but the fact remains we are a much better team
when
he plays and he has been our most creative and best midfielder this season.

Exactly.

Against Burnley He had a great game: closed down, tackled and passed well.
But
90% of games, if we don't have the ball he might was well not be on the
pitch.
His favourite trick is, when under pressure, to not hoof the ball, but pass
it
short to a centre half (who is under even more pressure) so THEY have to
hoof
it.

A luxury player, and the only player that's so lightweight that I've seen
him be

injured intercepting the ball with his foot (Millwall - league 2 Play Off
Semi
2nd leg). When he's had his testosterone injection, very good. Otherwise
tippy-tappy without Arsenal's skill or vision.
