Unbelievable. If it had been Pugh that went AWOL from the left resulting in the cross and goal I think we all know who you would have been blaming.
If you look at the link Mark sent, Clayton doesnt track back a midfield run, Kisnorbo ends up marking 2 players, but Connolly almost gets back to cover. Having said all that, even you could have scored that one, it was a fucking fantastic cross, and if Kisnorbo had got his head to it the chances are he would have scored an OG. But anyway, my summary of the goal for you.. defence & midfield out of shape due to the referee playing advantage and Connolly being out of position. Sam hopelessly out of position, leaving White with 2 to defend. Attacker has all the time in the world to line up the cross, and it is a superb cross. Basically he would not have done that had he been marked/covered/given less time. And whose fault was that? Clue: not Pugh or Becchio. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Richard Walker Sent: 22 November 2011 16:07 To: Paul Cundell Cc: 'LeedsList' Subject: Re: [LU] Burnley report >>Making snap judgements is a right solely reserved for you, is it? >>Fact - Sam went AWOL and they scored a goal. When have I ever made a snap judgement. I have said repeatedly on this list that I reserve judgement on defenders until they are bedded in. Chris Fairclough made me realise that - he was dreadful in his first few games but came good, really good. My other judgement on players are made through watching the players perform in many games for Leeds. I've seen Pugh play countless times - he wasn't good enough first time around , what makes him good enough this time ? and as for Becchio , I've had my fill. Back to the Burnley goal - some halfwit said it wasn't the defenders in the box fault ? What ??? A free header in and around the six yard box is definitely a defenders fault no matter how good the cross. Get real. _______________________________________________ Leedslist mailing list Info and options: http://mailman.greennet.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/leedslist To unsubscribe, email [email protected] PETE CASS (1962 - 2011) Rest In Peace Mate _______________________________________________ Leedslist mailing list Info and options: http://mailman.greennet.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/leedslist To unsubscribe, email [email protected] PETE CASS (1962 - 2011) Rest In Peace Mate
