My my, the mature mob are in full flow today!
OK, here's the FACTS on Burnleys goal:
1). Connolly's defending is shocking. Breaks the golden rule and goes off his
feet, puts him out of position and very lucky not to get booked.
2). Sam is dragged out of position, because Howson is busy marking no-one in
particular and then leaves claytons man completely unattended. Completely! All
this exposes White at the back, but White is far too slow to come out and close
the right winger down.
3). Clayton, my favourite player by far this season, leaves his man. Lazy and
not good enough for a pro.
4). Due to #3 & #1, kisnorbo has no option but to pick up the man Clayton
leaves as he is the front man and Connolly would have picked up the back man
had it not been for #1.
5). It is a beautiful cross, top drawer. No chance for MacArthy to come and
claim, hit at pace and unchallenged because of Connolly's stupid challenge and
Clayton and howsons defensive errors and kisnorbo being dragged in.
6). Becchio is DEFINITELY NOT responsible for the goal. :-)
7). Ian and Paul sitting in a tree ...

Poor team play all round gents, main culprits on this occasion are Connolly,
Clayton and, analysing it, Howson!!!
