Disagreed I am afraid.

Subsidiaries should generally be left to be self sufficient, their own
separate cost centre.  If you strip their profits so they cannot
reinvest/grow, then they will die off.

Only when you get supernormal profits should you think about subsidising the
other parts of the business.

IMO!
