I suspect you are in a very small minority with this view Mark, As far as I and I think most other fans think , the Leeds United subsidiaries - Billys Bar, Howards Way, Yorkshire Radio etc etc are not real businesses in their own right. They exist purely and simply to raise funds for Leeds United football team.If Bates or anyone else wants a pub / restaurant / conference centre / radio station, then fair enough BUT if it is coming under the Leeds United banner then it should help finance the football team. Mark - presumably even you would not be happy to see , for example Billys Bar doing really well and opening branches all through the country whilst Leeds United FC goes to the wall and ceases to exist ? We ARE different from most other businesses - if Tesco lose money on the supermarket side and make money from the insurance business then the shareholders may still be happy, and ultimately may close the supermarket business and become just an insurance company with no harm done if profits to Tesco are at a decent level. I repeat, it is no use to me for Ken Bates to have the worlds greatest restaurant franchise business if Leeds United do not existDave-
