> Its got fuck all to do with season ticket renewals. It's got everything to do with Season Ticket renewals! That's why the club were p'd off that the Howson story broke so early. I'm sure if they'd been able to they would have suppressed this story until the very last minute.
> As I said in a previous post, if you don't enjoy your day out, don't go.. if > you do, go. But you don't go, so what does that say about you? I'm sure the club would prefer 20k paying customers with a negative attitude to 20k non-paying customers with a positive one. Or does your economics have different rules regarding cash flow as well as profit. > Whatever you personally decide to do wont make any difference to how Bates > operates, or protests, or anything else. He's a stubborn old fart with 3500 less customers this season, if he loses the same again this time round he'll be £4m a season down in income. > None of which gets away from the fact Howson would have been off > regardless, > that was written as soon as we didn't get promoted last season. Really, so if Bates had invested in the squad as per his statement last January and the club had achieved promotion not only would we still have Howson - we'd probably still have Gradel and 3,500 season ticket holders. If we'd have been challenging for the top 2 now Howson may well have signed up and the club would keep another 3500 season ticket holders. 3500 = £2m = Howson - the logic of selling him still doesn't stack up. _______________________________________________ Leedslist mailing list Info and options: http://mailman.greennet.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/leedslist To unsubscribe, email [email protected] PETE CASS (1962 - 2011) Rest In Peace Mate
