Paul, the reports include a statement from Lorimer.. but then he is just a puppet of Bates isn't he.
There are plenty of reports out there which said that howson was intent on PL football next year, over the last year, including from Howson himself. Show me one report which says he wanted to sign, even if it risked him not playing in PL next season, as long as we had "shown enough ambition" to do so. I don't defend Bates, back him or any of that childish shit, I go to watch Leeds when I want to watch them. And without some rich sugar daddy I am happy that we aren't playing the stupid contract game, because without a sugar daddy with cash to spare, that will as likely mean League One as it would Premier League. I like to think I learn lessons in life. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Paul Cundell Sent: 21 January 2012 08:35 To: Leeds List Subject: Re: [LU] Midfielder upgrade part 2 > Its not a question of staying or not, it's a question of signing a new contract, and I don't think he would have Which is just what you think, you have very little to base your opinion on other than blindly accepting everything Bates tells you - which you do when it suits, of course. Well touche I think had the club shown ambition he would have signed a new contract months ago, prove me wrong. > - and that seems to be confirmed > by ALL the reports we are seeing. ALL the reports are written by the same man, for pitys sake. Show me a report where Howson says he wouldn't have signed a new contract for all the tea in china. > Still, you continue to blame Bates. Still you continue to defend Bates. However, you defend him without actually backing him. Which is a cake and eat it scenario, is it not? _______________________________________________ Leedslist mailing list Info and options: http://mailman.greennet.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/leedslist To unsubscribe, email [email protected] PETE CASS (1962 - 2011) Rest In Peace Mate _______________________________________________ Leedslist mailing list Info and options: http://mailman.greennet.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/leedslist To unsubscribe, email [email protected] PETE CASS (1962 - 2011) Rest In Peace Mate
