Clearly Christiansen needs to make some changes to the starting eleven. I'd say Lonergan in for Wiedwald and Vieira in for Phillips, O'Kane or Alioski are obvious ones. But I think he should also think about whether we should go 4-4-2 with Roofe, Grot or Cibicki playing number 10 to Lasogga's number 9 up front. In that case we could have a central midfield pairing of O'Kane and Vieira with two from Saiz/Hernandez/Dallas/Alioski on the wings. Perhaps we could even go 3-5-2, with Ayling, Jansson and Pennington or Cooper at the back, then a central midfield trio of Vieira, O'Lane and Phillips, plus two wingers and two of the above-mentioned forwards.
Another thought: we clearly lack height in central midfield. Shaughnessy is a converted midfielder who has an eye for a pass. Is it time to experiment with him playing alongside Vieira there? Cheers!
