I think both those are difficult ones. Green wasn’t perfect - his howler at home to Newcastle was as bad as anything Weidwald has done and at his age we needed to be looking for another keeper. I’m not sure Weidwald is the answer though but he fits the style TC wants to play. I think TC has modified his approach, we didn’t play out quite as much last night. At the time I thought selling Wood for that price was good sense. He looked lazy and disinterested a couple of seasons ago (much like Lasogga does now) and had one good season. I still think we got a good price but the issue is in not replacing him. I know it was late in the window when he went but you’d have thought they’d have planned for it. Thought Vieira was immense yesterday and although Cooper had a better game, I still don’t think he’s good enough at this level. Should’ve scored that header first half - it’s a fair achievement to head the ball that far over the bar from about 8 yards out!
