Not true wrt both. Both were on a contract. Look at Wenger. He learned and its about time we do. The player you sell us worth the price they pay. The player they sell and we buy often is not. It's plain daft to say with 15,million we replace Wood. IMO only half if not less of any buy are worth the money. We are back to the Cellino way of saying a player has a price. He does not. Not in monetary terms. It only has value in our owners pocket. AR is going the same way. Buy cheep sell dear. And bluff you will reinvest and spin the line the player didn't want to stay. Look at Leicester, Liverpool and Arsenal. They said no and the sky didn't cave in. The bottom line we are trying to do it on the cheep and make a fast buck. It hasn't worked and it won't. I am becoming disillusioned again. We're going nowhere again.
