I'm not sure you understand how the transfer market works, buying decent players takes time,not just money. Wood went so late it was just not possible to find a proper replacement as no-one would sell a top class striker, who wanted to come to a crisis club, at that stage,so we were left with a cast off in lassogga. We were unlucky with ekuban's injury, so he's months behind where he would have been. By all means wallow in your disillusionment if that makes you happy, But an objective analysis would surely conclude we are in a better situation than for years.
