I'd argue that if Ampadu doesn't get caught the wrong side of his man that
they don't score at all.
I'd also argue that regardless of the scoreline, you don't need any bigger
a boost in confidence than being unmarked at the edge of the area for a
corner.
"He's not solely to blame" and you're "not looking for a scapegoat" but
it's all his fault.
You want to blame someone and it's him. I think you're wrong and there are
deeper problems than that.
You imply getting a better keeper is like nipping down Sainsburys for a
carrot and think replacing him with a third choice PL goalie who's been
benchwarming for their reserves is the solution.
