It reminded me of the home game against them last year.
Conceded a bad goal and then they sat back and let us have possession without
threatening anything.
I thought Struijk was suspect again (gave the ball away needlessly in the build
up to their second and along with Ampadu didnt close the scorer) , surely time
for Bijol?
Aaronson was awful and should have scored.
Seen a lot of criticism of Harrison but I thought he did ok. Intercepted a pass
and should have had an assist if Aaronson had scored. The back post volley was
tricky, thought he did the right thing in trying to get over the ball. Did it
too well and hit it into the ground and it bounced over. Only question i guess
is whether he had time to take it down.
Gudmonsson was excellent again.
Darlow had little to do other than pick the ball out of the net twice.
Kicked the ball out for their throw in needlessly but we cleared that for
another throw which we switched off from - Stach not tracking his man.
Would have liked to have seen a bolder selection from the start rather than
chucking all the attackers on at 2 nil.

Subject: [LU] Burnley

I said after spurs that it was becoming a pattern and one that would get us
relegated, we deserved something but went home empty handed.
Only watched on a dodgy stream so don't always get real feel / impression but
the stats were so much in our favour, 68% , 19 shots to 4, xG of 1.68 to 0.45
, so we can argue that we deserved at least a draw but the only stat that
counts was 2-0 Burnley.
It's still too early to say how important a game is, but the general consensus
was this was a must not lose and yet we lost.West Ham is now looking like a
must win.
The trouble is we are so toothless up front, as soon as the team was announced
I felt we would not score,
When the board went up for 7 extra minutes the commentary team said it gives
leeds a chance, my response " they could add 7 hours and we will not score "
Despite all the possession etc we only had 2 chances where I felt we should/
must score, Arronsen when the keeler got it onto the posy, and Bogles miss, the
rest were half chances at best ( my feed went down for Harrisons chance so no
idea re that)
If you can't score then it's imperative that you don't concede yet we gave a
very soft goal, a terrible pass out by Darlow straight into touch, then leaving
the lad a free header. That meant Burnley could just sit back Their second,
yes a screamer but we gave him far too much room.
So another disappointing result
We need to stop the slide and quickly

Dave
