You can add some. Go to Options > Customize > Other, where you'll find the option under "Custom User ID Numbers".
If the problem occurs in the sample file, then we know it's not your file but your installation of Legacy. No one suggested that you "move" the tree. Evert suggested that you export to a new Family File. Sometimes that will clear up problems that a check/repair doesn't. Thanks for using Legacy.
