Thanks Robert, that may help a lot. My memory is that the GEDCOM 5.5 "standard" 
requires the underline prefix for all user defined fields, so it's a valuable 
heads up that Ancestry may not follow that at all. I may have to work with 
GEDCOMS to do things where Legacy doesn't provide a mechanism, like changing 
UIDs. I'll download an Ancestry GEDCOM, look at it to see what's what, and try 
to dope out APID.
