If you are sure you are using a valid Customer Number but the program is
telling you it is not valid you probably need to contact the Sales dept
to confirm your number.

It sounds as though the program is looking for a file on a CD each time
you start up. Having gone through the process you describe, look in
Options>Customise>General and check that "Open last used family file
automatically" is checked.

No go to File>Close Family File. Then File>Open Family File and select
the file you want to open from where it is stored on your C:\drive.
(Which is apparently C:\Legacy\Data\Pat.)

Next time you close and then re-open Legacy it will automatically look
in that place on the C:\drive for your file.

Your other option is to select "Always prompt for starting family file"
and select the file you wish to open, but this is not usually very
convenient.

I will let someone else deal with that one.
