Thanks Ron. I understand everything you say. It has to be exported by the source and imported by the destination ... and each have to recognize the tags and then know what to do with them (or at least do something with them).
I've viewed in detail the gedcom being exported by Legacy - SW and Basic Sources, using the same settings and Basic sources export the Source Detail in a PAGE tag. SW Sources do not. I'm sure TNG knows what to do with the PAGE tag it's just that it's not there for SW Sources.
