I'm still not sure I am following you. Here is what I think you are saying... You have an individual displayed on the Family tab. You have changed the setting on the Family tab to display AKA1 on the last line for the individual instead of the default Death Cause. If this is correct, then Legacy will display the first aka. As far as I know, Legacy DOES list (and store) aka's in alphabetical order.
