The only thing I will share is that I prefer to use Event/Facts as
opposed to General Notes. I like the fact that I can create many
Event/Facts and source each individually. I do not, as a rule, add
census info as its own event (but I do break this rule on occasion). I
would add stories, obituaries, etc. as an Event/Fact if I intend to
publish that portion of the tree.

If you intend to publish I would explore all options before deciding on
a method. It's a pain to go back later and fix.
