>First of all, I'd question your idea that "Census" is not an event.
We are confusing two separate things. Certainly a census itself (the act of someone knocking on your door for the purpose of recording certain information) is an event ... just like a baptism is an event. But the info gathered and recorded on a NARA microfilm is a source ... just like a baptism certificate is a source. The question each of us has to decide is whether or not to record a census as an event worth mentioning in our database. I can understand why some do, and I can understand why some don't. -- Dennis Kowallek (LTools) http://zippersoftware.com/ltools http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ltools Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp To unsubscribe: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/LegacyLists.asp
