I've been very fortunate with this as well.  I just point it to one file and it 
automatically corrects all the others.  All my media are in subfolders by 
subject and not all in one folder.  It's easier to find things this way.  The 
only problem it might have is if I've renamed any of the folders.

Another thing about Windows 7, and I think someone on this list told me about 
this, Legacy runs better if it isn't installed under Program Files (x86).  It 
should be in the root directory (i.e., C:\).  I had all sorts of problems when 
it was put where Windows 7 wanted to put it.

Actually, I've found that if I use the option to let Legacy search
after moving from one computer to another, it amazingly relinks
*everything* that didn't have a name change.

This is one of the reasons why we recommend multimedia files be kept
in their respective sub-folders in Legacy - when you switch computers
or share your files with someone else who has Legacy, there are
absolutely *no* problems with the files going missing, unless you
forget to copy them over or send them!
