Sherry,

After moving from one computer to another, didn't you first restore
your datafile AND all the multimedia files to the same directory path
as they were in on the original computer? That's the way I always do
it. So did your multimedia really NEED finding?

I just now renamed a subdirectory C:\Legacy\Pictures\vanwasshnova
then clicked on someone's Picture Gallery. He had 4 "?" icons. When I
clicked on the first one it said "Legacy cannot find the file' do I
want Legacy to search for the file - yes. Guess what? Legacy can't
find the file!! The file goes bye-bye. And then there were 3. Tried
same on next fine. Same results. And then there were 2. The last 2
cannot be found either by Legacy or by Legacy but they are still in
the gallery. I go to another person with 6 "?" icons which can't be
found but at least they didn't dis-appear. After I rename my
subdirectory back to original 8 out of 10 pictures are restored.
Fortunately I had a backup.

That is a BUG.
