Don, It depends upon what you are looking for and where. I viewed the available database listing before I subscribed. After that I found land and probate records, family histories and so on, not available at other sites. On some searches it may come up with something on Footnote (I have a subscription) or Google Books. The latter is free; however, it is nice to perform one search in one place and come up with the different sources. I also have a subscription to Ancestry.com. My husband and I are avid researchers, and we more than get our money's worth. I research on many subscription and free sites - all have something different to offer.
Check out WVRs database listing thoroughly and see what may be of use to you. Is anyone subscribed to WorldVitalRecords.com? Are you finding it useful? How do you rate it against others (for example, Ancestry.com)?
