For inconsequential changes like you mention, I agree with Mary 100%. The 
question I ask myself is "would someone on the LUG be able to duplicate my 
work?" If I answer yes, then I go with the "condensed" version. Only if I 
thought the group could not follow what I meant - if they were to read my work 
- would I consider using two separate citations.

I would use the newest version of NC State Board of Health and then note that
ther names such as NC Department of Health and NC Department of Health and

In my family file I have 17 death certificates all from Ancestry.com but I am
onfused how to cite them. They are all from North Carolina but some have the
