I am sorry I didn't explain this very well. I don't put ? in data fields. I just use unknown sex (?) with DATA as the surname to indicate that this is not data about a person that is part of my family tree but it is an entry in Legacy which I use like a filing system where I store the information that I collect that may well be relevant to my tree in the future.
