I did that, went through all the "at the time" designations. They didn't work well with any program. Since Legacy busily tells me county X wasn't in existence at the time in question I have to assume it would balk at Massachusetts Bay Colony too. I was using another program then. There would be endless discussions about whether it should be America, British North America, American Colonies, etc. I went back to USA.
