Not sure what you mean by that Randy.  Any file that is associated with an 
installed program within windows can be opened by that file by double clicking 
on the file in windows explorer.  By pinning a shortcut directly to that file 
onto the windows 7 taskbar, it will open with a single click.

Legacy will not let you open a second Legacy file if one is already open, 
except within Legacy by using the Split Screen View or via the "File" menu if 
you just want to switch files.

Yes, but be aware that a subsequent click on a different .fdb file does nothing.

If you always want to open the same Legacy file by default, create a desktop 
shortcut pointing to the "Your Legacy file.fdb" file you want to open (it will
