Georgia, Your Timeline is not working, it may not be working because Legacy has mixed up your instructions as to the detailed format which you require, this information is contained in the .USR files. So, deleting the appropriate USR file as suggested by Sherry will cause Legacy to create a new USR file using the defaults the next time you decide to create a timeline. You will then need to redo your settings.
This is only an approximation as to how it works, but hopefully you will see the principle. Why will deleting the .usr files restore the timelines? This doesn't make sense to me. Will it also restore the timeline that I created? Also, you say that the preferences and settings will be restored as I use the various features but you say I will have to reselect my choices. So, does it restore them or do I have to reselect all of them? Thanks, Georgia On 11/10/2011 1:12 PM, Sherry/Support wrote: > The .usr files just hold your preferences and settings.
