Paul and others,Tags are indeed one of the powerful tools when using any database. Whenever I have something that I want to remain tagged, I create a Source record to describe that such as your example of knowing which individuals for whom you have acquired a will. Then, I can easily find everyone with that source and re-mark them with one of the tags. In this way, I have unlimited tags that can be stored such that certain "sources" become a permanent tag. One that I use often is a source that tells me if an individual is a participant in our family DNA project. Using that source, I can quickly re-tag all the DNA participants when I wish to report on them. One other way that I can "remember" a select group of individuals, is to save a focus group and then re-load that focus group to be used for re-tagging that group, etc. Hope these ideas will help you with your database operations.Ron Taylor
