| I think it depends on two things: (a) what does your sister-in-law want and (b) how much time are you willing to spend right now in entering sources. I had received something similar from someone who was researching a branch of my family line (it turned out his wife and my family shared a common ancestor). He is an old-time genealogist who kept track of all the microfilms he viewed, but did not source each entry in his hand-written family group sheets. A family history produced about 10 years ago was not sourced because it was only for distribution within the family, and for a few others who heard about it (my older brother paid to get a copy of it). He did not want anything back from me in regard to research he had already done, but was interested in anything new I found. I sent that to him with my sources, using Legacy. I actually found information on three branches of the family where he had brick walls, because he didn't realize several children had settled in Ohio. I set up "Michigan Family Group Sheets - (surname)" as a Master Source and used it when making entries into Legacy for what he sent me. I then followed up by viewing the microfilms he used (he sent me the list), and adding those microfilms as the primary source as I confirmed (or denied) the information he had. That way I didn't face a monumental effort in sourcing all at once.
