Since there is so little real sourcing to be done, if I were in your place, I would create a couple of very informative sources, maybe even just one that gives ALL of the info someone would need; i.e., "this record is based on a compilation prepared by xxx which came from the personal recollections of xxxxx. Some information came from a family bible with is current held by xxxxx who also has a number of original birth, marriage & death certificates. For additional information contact xxxxx. These are the names and addresses and phone numbers of those family members who have contributed information to this work."
Then, you can copy that source to the clipboard, and every new person you enter, just click on the little "-" and add that source so people can see there is a source and follow it to see what it says. Personally, I'd probably just add it to the name field and leave it at that in this case. i.e., you have your cursor in the name field and then click the button and it applies that source to that field. You could do the same thing with any other field. I hope I'm not off in left field with this suggestion; but I think this is what you were trying to get at. Good luck! You are so fortunate to have this 'problem'! Kathy On Tue, May 1, 2012 at 4:50 PM, Larry Lee <[email protected]> wrote: > Kathy, > There is very little sourcing.
