Actually, the HTML output selection will store a completely new copy of the original image in the web output folder. Thus the HTML image link is to this new image in the web folder where the image is now stored. The Legacy program link to the original path for the image is not part of the HTML output.
But all this seem moot since the OP has replied that what he is looking for is a printed report with clear, readable images that are attached to a source citation. I don't think Legacy can provide that other than through the means by which the OP suggested merely pasting the Source Citation into a Word doc and then inserted the actual full size image into the doc. I would suggest that the reason that images look better on the screen using a web browser is because, say, 100dpi will give excellent reproduction on the screen due to the number of pixels which the screen requires, whereas around 250 are required for printing.
