When you select a Source, a statement of how it will look when quoted in a report, such as a descendant report, is set out at the bottom of the selection dialog. That is all you would see in a family history published as a book. If you want an image to show up in the Report, you select it from Multimedia and use the tools in the report setup to make it show.
If the image in question has the same ID every time (say with the reason for the link in the Details,) you can use the "Where Used" option under Sources to get a list of all the references to it, and print the list. But adding a copy of the image to the printout is another matter again. The idea is good, but it is maintenance rather than producing a family history document. HTML could do it, and HTML is coming to the desktop and to apps as well, but any provision for doing it is up to the program. I haven't looked at everything Legacy can do, so I can't say whether there is a way of doing it, or not. Doug.
