If you are copying and pasting from one individual to a second, you have to 
open the one you are copying from, copy your text, close that person and open 
the one you are copying to and paste. Too may key presses for me.

Boilerplate refers to text that you use often or repeatedly.  If you have three 
entries to copy over, that is a lot of switching back and forth.

Outside of Legacy I use a program called Stickies, which is like an electronic 
Post-it note, that will stay on top of other programs.  I put my "boilerplate" 
on it and can copy and paste very quickly.  In Legacy it is even faster to use 
the function keys to do this as you are not switching between individuals or 
programs.  I hope I made that clear.
