A GEDCOM is simply a text file in different clothing.  If you wish, you
can open the GEDCOM in a text editor and FIND/CHANGE all the ABT, CIR,
etc., to the desired function.  With a bit of research, planning and
carful editing, you might be able to reduce the errors to a more
acceptable lot.
