In other words, you are saying that I can't use the shared event feature for a
widow as head of household. The problem isn't in the wording for her event,
but her maiden name shows up in the census and residence events for her
children. The census form shows her married name and that is the way it should
be recorded in Legacy.

I suggest that you add an option to change the name as it is appears for other
family members in shared events.

Thank you,

Subject: Re: [LegacyUG] Shared Event uses maiden name instead of married name

If it is an individual event for her you cannot have Legacy use a married
surname. Individual events always use the surname of the person, after all she
may have had more than one husband and how would Legacy know which marriage to
use for the surname. For the same reason you cannot try to have an individual
event use a spouse name, if you try Legacy will just use the person's name.
