I am very fortunate to have in my possession my grandparents collection of Post Cards spanning before and after their immigration to New Zealand. I have spent many hours and days trying different ways of recording the relevant information and have come to the conclusion I need advice from those more experienced.
My first thought was that it is a source. (to quote Jeff "what have you got in your hand") But I want to be able to choose if a transcript of the relevant sentences are printed on reports or not and this can be achieved by entering as an Event with a Master Source only (no detail) So I have tried a Post Card Event which seems to work. Before I get too far down the track as I have a huge number to enter, can anyone see any problems with this or able to suggest something better.
