I wish there was a way myself. I've mentioned this before and it would make things easier if we were able to update Source Details all in one place especially same ones that apply to several people.

I don't know when it happened, but I did a lot of editing today. I painstakingly wrote out Source Details for each change I made and I will often place comments in the SD Comments explaining something specific such as "Marriage only; not date nor place." This gives me a good picture of how I came to the conclusion that I did. I started out with the 'Add these Comments with the Source Citation on Reports' checked. Somewhere along the way, that accidentally got unchecked today. I have made a ton of edits. There is no way I can go back through and fix all of that one by one. Is there a way to fix this by search and replace or something? Like all edits today or whatever? This is the one serious annoyance I have about Legacy. There is no easy way to edit a group of source details that have common values. At least, not a way that I am aware of and I apologize if I'm incorrect in that. Many thanks for suggestions, Cindy Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp Follow Legacy on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/LegacyFamilyTree) and on our blog (http://news.LegacyFamilyTree.com).
