I beg to differ. Years ago I clicked on an image that came to me
by email
and got a nasty virus!
Hubby had a couple from doc files being passed around his company. I have
yet to receive one from a web page.

The other issue with attachments is that not all of our listers are on
broadband, many of them use mobile devices
 -
which makes pictures in emails a real pain!
 -
and many have limited internet access - pictures (and HTML email, as far as
that goes), eats up their monthly allotment.

I *know* the lack of broadband and size of downloads are an issue because
I frequently see emails from customers complaining about how long it takes
to download the program or who have problems downloading and have used up
their monthly allotment!

Now, in a perfect world, if everyone would resize their screen shots to
something like under 200 KB, it probably would be fine. But, as we know,
this isn't a perfect world and people don't know how to resize screen shots
(or don't think of it) so they come through several MB in size....

Heck, we can't even get people to trim messages!

So let's drop this thread. Anyone can set up a free Dropbox, Skydrive, Box
or any other file sharing service account, upload a screen shot to a public
folder and let those interested click on the picture.

Sincerely,
Sherry
