I have heard that uninstalling Google chrome can cause this behaviour in Internet Explorer and the only solution I have found is to reset Internet Explorer back to it's default settings. This may work for your problem?
Internet Explorer: Tools: Options: Advanced Tab and click on the reset button about 3/4 of the way down on the form. This is probably totally unrelated, but a bit like a problem I’m experiencing with another program, so may (or probably not) contain a clue. After using Internet Explorer as my preferred browser for many years, a few months ago clicking buttons (and sometimes on links) on many websites stopped working. I’ve had to resort to using Google’s chrome until I figure out and resolve the issue. I have been a Legacy user since the very beginning and I am very familiar with the way the program works. If you look back a few days ago when I first wrote about it, others are having the same problem. I cannot click to add a child, but must use the down menu, I cannot disconnect a child by clicking, I must use the little icon. Now I cannot add a source by clicking on a source icon. There is a problem with the new version of Legacy. I have no trouble with Legacy 7, so I do know how to click. Also with a database of over 55,000 people I am definitely sure I learned how to click along the way. I guess I sound crabby, sorry Vivian Gullickson White Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp Follow Legacy on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/LegacyFamilyTree) and on our blog (http://news.LegacyFamilyTree.com).
