The problem with this mailing list’s position is that is totally without any statistical justification. There are all these supposed dial up users out there, but rarely does anyone post on this list that they would be among those adversely impacted. I don’t dispute that there are some, but how many? No one knows. That needs to be balanced against the fact that graphics do help to illustrate issues very well in some cases.
