Thanks, Bob. I have already started out with your method of just fixing things as I found them. I had not thought of copying to Word though and fixing the notes that way. Good idea. Thanks!
After my first comment, way at the bottom of this e-mail, Sherry gave me hope that there was another, less tedious, way to fix all of the word issues in the notes at one time, so I thought I would like to try that. As for the answer from Sherry under 'SOLUTION', I had no clue how to do that. I see from your answer that I need to change the method BEFORE I import a GEDCOM. I had looked for how to change the method now that I have imported the GEDCOM and could not find anything. I have only been using Legacy for a few months and have not added much because I am really still quite lost in how to make it work. Therefore, it will not be too difficult for me to go back and import the GEDCOM again. I appreciate this group which tries to help each other with problems that they come up against.
