In my personal file I created a Source for Facebook using the Message Boards and forums template. The fields there for the Master source are: Name of Forum: Facebook Type: Social Network URL: www.facebook.com
Details that can be entered for this template are: Author Last and Given Names Title: Here I use Profile page, About page for personal information from those pages or the first few words of a general post since Facebook does not Title posts. Date: Date of the posting, I usually leave it blank for Profile and About page entries since Facebook does not date those. Date Accessed You may want to use your Facebook Group as the Message Board/Forum instead of a General Facebook source Brian Customer Support Millennia Corporation [email protected] http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com On 03 Sep 2014 10:30 AM, Jessica Morgan wrote: snip > > This begs the question of sourcing more "non traditional" sources.
