Another thing you could look at is a clipboard extender. I've used one for years and it's one of the things I couldn't live without. It saves everything you copy to clipboard so when you want to copy several things from one place and then paste them in another, you just do all the copying and then go and do all the pasting.
I currently use Ditto - it's free but I may go back to using Clipmate which I mostly like better but takes a bit more maintenance. There are others.
