Kathy,
Are you speaking of the popup information boxes? If so, please check customization 1.7 as the default setting is off. You will need to turn on this setting. Denise From: kaytt [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Tuesday, March 17, 2015 10:39 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [LegacyUG] Pop-up boxes in family view I’m trying to learn the Legacy 8 deluxe features and I noticed that the pop-up information boxes do not work in “family view”. I really depended on that feature a lot in previous versions. It made it so quick to check if anything was missing from an individual and you could click on the edit button if changes were needed. Now I have to move that person to the main person in order to see what I have and/or add a birth date or source, or whatever. It really slows things down when I have a list of children and I have to keep moving each individual to the main window to see if everything is as I want it. The pop-up information boxes work in pedigree view so it makes me wonder if I’m missing some setting. I checked the help file, and I have the little box to show pop-up boxes checked in the list of customised options. If that feature isn’t working, I hope they get it implemented very soon.
