Brian, I continue to have issues.  Here is what I did.  First, I removed
the existing source I had created which was showing up in the
Christening field.  Then, I deleted the Master Source altogether so I
could start from scratch.  Then, I created an event using Residence.

It is not clear to me where I should go to add the source for this
event.  I do not find any instruction on adding Sources to Events in
Help.  I assumed I just clicked on the Source icon at the top of my
screen while I am in the Individual's Information dialog box.  This is
what I did.  Now in the Assigned Sources dialog box, I clicked on Add a
New Source.  I entered 11.23 to find the EE section I want, and selected
homestead files > basic format.  I filled out all the fields.  I went to
repository and clicked on the ... to add the repository.  I filled out
the fields and clicked Save.  At this point I hear a "ding" and I am
taken back to the "Step 2. Fill in the fields below" dialog box"  My
screen is frozen and when I click Alt I get the "Run-time error '9':
Subscript out of range" message.  Clicking OK at this point bounces me
out of Legacy.  I checked this error as Cathy advised and it says to
make sure you have the most recent build and version of Legacy, which I
do.

When I go back into Legacy and go to my ancestor for this event, I see
the event listed in the Events/Facts field.  When I go into my Master
Source List, I see there is a blank source at the top (before trying to
create the new source for the land entry file I had purged all unused
sources from the list).  The new source I had started creating is not
there, which is to be expected since I did not complete the process.
Please advise as to fruther steps I should take to resolve this issue.
Thank you.

Barton
