On the first screen is a box that, for me, is always checked by default:
Override Source options - include all source information. Make sure
that box is not checked. Click the "Customize" button and under "Groups
of Items to EXCLUDE from Export" check "Sources"

sources, I exported to a Legacy file with everything except the
sources.
